The SCALE-UP Project at NC State University

The Physics Education and Development group at NC State is currently in the process of developing and implementing a student-centered introductory physics course. The primary goal of the SCALE-UP project is to determine the best way to establish a highly collaborative, hands-on, computer-rich, interactive learning environment in large-enrollment physics course. An overview of the course and classroom will be given as well as its impact on student performance.
