Welcome to the CGWA Student Development Office's Website. The office,
a unit of the Center for Gravitational Wave Astronomy, has been
created to recruit and provide academic advising for students involved
with the Center for Gravitational Wave Astronomy and the Department
of Physics and Astronomy. Additionally, the office provides information
about our research programs, tutoring services and available scholarships/conferences.
Check the links below. If you need further assistance

The Center for Gravitational Wave Astronomy
(CGWA) offers scholarships
to support both graduate and undergraduate students in several
science areas that are interesting to the CGWA research.
Part of these funds (25%) must be allocated to increase the number
of degrees awarded to U.S. citizens who historically have been
underrepresented in NASA-related fields, and to which the CGWA
will contribute directly and/or indirectly to advanced degree
production for such students.
The CGWA will hold an annual summer school on gravitational wave
astronomy. The purpose of the school is to provide senior undergraduate
and junior graduate students with the background to begin research
in gravitational wave astronomy.
